Best grill and shisha lounge

Triumph Resto Lounge is one of London's hidden hot spots, located in Tooting High Street, SW17. This is a Mediterranean restaurant with a shisha garden, and inside was a whole vibe. The aesthetic was SO PRETTY, the drinks, food and shisha did not disappoint. 

We were seated on a nice table next to this beautiful bonsai tree. Of course, we started off the night with two rounds of cocktails to go with our appetizes. The zombie cocktail was a serious contender, sweet but strong, I'd rate it a 9/10 easily. The porn star martini was an 8.5/10 for taste, and we love the little prosecco shot that comes with it! I'd rate the wings 6/10, next time I'll try the grilled ones instead, and the halloumi fries were a 7/10, it was a healthy portion between the two of us. 

Moving on to the mains... I ordered the lamb chops, and my friend ordered the lamb ribs, both meals come with chips and salad on the side. When the food arrived, we were shocked at how big the portions sizes were. I enjoyed my lamb chops; I'd give it an 8/10 as the meat was tender and tasty. I tried my friends lamb ribs, they were quite fatty and hardly had meat on them, which was a little bit disappointing, so for that I'd rate it a 5/10. Neither one of us finished everything on out plates, but it was a nice munch to eat. 

While we were vibing to the music, we placed two more rounds of drink orders, the blue lagoon was strong... I’d rate it a 7/10, you could really taste the alcohol. We couldn't resist, so we got ourselves a grape and mint shisha to share. Honestly, I was impressed of how good the shisha tasted. I've always found that some shisha lounges are too heavy on the tobacco-to-flavor ratio, which just ruins the experience. Shout out to the bar staff who gave us some free tequila shots on the house, which was courteous of them. 

Overall, this place was such good vibes, and I genuinely had a fun night out with my girly. The atmosphere was so chilled, everyone was having a good time, and the service was quick, there was not a long waiting time for anything we had ordered. The staff were very attentive, and it made the overall experience enjoyable. The only recommendation for the food would be improving the lamb ribs. 

I will defiantly be retuning back here, it's the perfect place for evening out with a group of friends or a date night with your partner. I like the fact you can dress up to go here and the aesthetic of the restaurant gives you that bougie, fancy feel when you are inside the garden area. Unfortunately, we missed happy hour! Although, this did not stop us from ordering more drinks. If you are planning to visit here, try booking before 7pm so you can get more for your money. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to eat, drink and shisha.
