Camden Market BEST Spots

Updated: Jul 24, 2024

Calling all HUNGRY BELLIES! This one is for you... Come with me to Camden Market in London for the best food finds. In total, we spent just under £20 each! Summer's around the corner, and we are outside, friend.

Our food adventure began at Argentine Steak and Burgers, where we eagerly indulged in their signature juicy ciabatta steak burger meal priced at £13.50. The steak sandwich was layered with fresh ingredients, generously topped with cheese, chimichurri sauce, and garnished with salad. This meal came with a portion of crispy fries on the side and a drink too.

Despite the restaurant's popularity, the wait of around 15 minutes was manageable, allowing us to soak in the vibrant atmosphere. As expected with most London food hotspots, the pricing was on the higher side, but an occasional splurge is allowed.

The next place we tried out was an Italian spot called Piadina Mia. I ordered a grilled chicken, mozzarella, and pesto wrap, filled with rocket and tomatoes for about £10. To make it a meal with fries and a drink, it would have been £13.50. The wrap was great, the guy added extra mozzarella and kept it coming. I'd rate it a strong 8/10 based on value for money and taste. Both food places we tried were Halal-friendly and good for a munch. Click here to check out my video on Instagram.

For dessert, we first went to the Magic Juice stall and got some chocolate-covered strawberries. It cost £7.50 for two toppings; we chose milk and white warm chocolate. They were so sweet! I'd rate it a 5/10 based on price and quality. I think it was a little overpriced for what it was; it only requires two ingredients which you could make yourself at home.

Did somebody say Humble Crumple? This was amazing, the best crumble dessert I've ever eaten. The line moved quickly once you made it inside - you get to be a crumble crafter of your choice. I went rogue and chose a mixed berry fruit base topped off with shortbread crumble and smothered in hot custard. The combination of the three flavors complemented each other so well, I was doing my happy dance in my head.

My order came to £8.50 and I'd rate it a 7.5/10. The only thing to make it better would have been a lower fruit-to-crumble ratio and more custard on top, which left me wanting more. When I visit next, I opt for the crumble and custard combination so I can get the perfect mix of flavors.

If you're looking for a cool spot to have fun, this is perfect for mates' dates, a family day out, or even a relaxed after-work activity with colleagues. Head down to Camden Town for a good time.
