Fancy a night out to Fairgames in Canary Wharf? This is the perfect spot for date night with your mates, cute evening out with Bae or maybe somewhere to chill with your colleagues after work?

This is based in E14 4DH , Canary Wharf, and really accessible to get to whether you are travelling by car, train or bus. If you do happen to drive here, you can park in the West India Quay Car Park. To be real, it was a little pricey in comparison to other parking places, but that is what comes with living and travelling in and around London. Although, I will say the car park is just super close in terms of walking distant, so it made sense for us to park there.
Tickets cost £15 each... try to book in advance because tickets go fast! Once you have your booking confirmation via email, make sure you register your team name and sign up through the link they send you before arriving, this way you speed up the checking in process. Also, be mindful that after checking-in, your 75 minutes of games starts 30 minutes from the time you arrive.
During this time I ordered some food from Tacos Dos Mas, I opted for the three beef tacos for £12, it came with a side dip of gravy. I'll be honest, I underestimated how filling the tacos would be, but I'd rate my experience, food and taste a 7/10. What would have made it better, would have been adding some guacamole to add to my tacos, but they were out of it. There were two of food vendors to choose from, Burgers & Beyond, Rudy's Pizza Napoletana.
We also managed to get two rounds of drinks, one we had while eating and the second set we took on the game course. The drinks averaged around £10 - £12 each, which is standard London drink prices. They had an interesting selection on the menu, with some sweet, fun infused cocktails and also non-alcoholic options too. Depending what you like, there is plenty to pick from. They also had a candy stand where you could purchase sweets, candy floss, popcorn and Fairgame merch.
Once you start your 9 game course, you can play 2 rounds of each game within the allocated 75 minute window allocated. You do not have to follow any particular order and can just go at your own paste, which made it more enjoyable! The games were good fun, the game where I had to throw balls and knock down pins was one of my top 3. After you tap your card, your team and yourself then have to compete against everyone else and if you manage to get enough points afterwards, you can win prizes like keychains and teddy bears. Alternatively, you can just go to the merch stand and grab something too.
It was such a nice vibe in there, the DJ was playing dancehall tunes at one point and all the workers behind the bar were just vibing to the the music. They also have a free cloakroom, so you don't have to carry your jacket around with you and they also have designated cup areas at each games if so you can bring it with you.

I had such a good time here, I'm already planning my next trip with a bigger group of people. I would recommend checking out Fairgames, I'm not sure what the day time atmosphere is, but the night vibe was pretty chilled. If you just want to go for drinks or maybe have a bite to eat, I'd allow for around £30 each (excluding the tickets price). Check out my Instagram video here of my night out to Fairgames. Overall, I'd rate the whole experience 7/10 based on value for money, drinks and the games. It was great fun but one recommendation Fairgames could implement, is allowing players the choice to have more than 2 rounds on a single game.
