Thailand Solo Trip Itinerary

I finally took the leap we all want to, but never do out of fear. I flew half way around the world, embarking on my FIRST EVER solo trip to Thailand. I will share my unique perspective of a young black female traveler, who took on 10 days of non-stop adventure, exploring and fun. Follow me on this journey of how I fell in love with getting lost in the beautiful paradise of Phuket. Through intensive research and strategic planning, your favorite travel guru will share the ultimate 10-day Thailand guide I created from scratch, to help you plan your next trip of a lifetime.

Your girl was really living a movie this summer! The moment the plane took off, I was OUTSIDE! soaking up the culture, eating new foods, embracing everything and anything along the journey. In these series of blog, I will highlight the best moments of my trip and provided you with a guide to get a real taste of Thailand. I will gradually realise each blog with all the links and videos so you are able to experience each moment through my words and see each photo taken, which has it's own story to tell.

Now having solo tripped to Thailand, I can honestly say I can see and feel the difference in myself that my family and friends have been talking about. Travel is so much more to me than sitting on the beach trying to take that "perfect picture".

Travelling has always been a big part of my life since I was young, it inspires me through exploring the unknown, challenging myself to try new things and embracing each culture as my own. I've been fortunate enough to meet beautiful souls along the way, some of which are now life-long friends.

Travelling in august is considered low season for tourism, as its the beginning on the monsoon season months (May- Oct). Despite everyone online saying August is a bad month to travel to Thailand because of the weather, I'm here to tell you it was absolutely fine. It occasionally rained for 5- 20mins despite being 31 degrees and then went back to sunshine for the rest of the day, I'll share some tips on how to avoid getting caught in the rain. I'm so glad I booked this solo trip, not only did I save so much money on travelling, but there was not an overwhelming about of tourist in Thailand, which meant less traffic, shorted queues and more availability for excursions.

As an experienced traveler, you really have to appreciate each destination individually, no place is the same as another and even when you think you know it all, life shows you how many beautiful moments you are yet to experience. I truly loved EVERY SINGLE moment of this solo trip, and most of all, I love who I am because of it.
